Therapy and Counseling Services
Evidence-Based, Relational Therapy for Adults, Couples, and Teens
I offer thoughtful, evidence-based therapy for adults, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, fertility-related stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I work with clients in New York City, Montclair, and Hoboken, and work with BeWELL Psychotherapy & Wellness to provide care that is both clinically grounded and deeply human.
My approach is relational, honest, and practical. Being in this field for almost a decade, I know that therapy isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level coping. It’s about understanding patterns, reducing distress, and helping you feel more connected to yourself and the people in your life.

Areas Of Focus:
Anxiety Therapy and Counseling
Anxiety today doesn’t always look like panic attacks. For many people, it shows up as constant overthinking, difficulty relaxing, physical tension, disrupted sleep, irritability, or a feeling of always being “on.” It can affect how you show up at work, in relationships, on social media, and even in moments that are supposed to feel restful or enjoyable.
I work with adults, couples, and teens navigating generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, and stress related to modern life pressures. Anxiety impacts the mind, body, and emotions; racing thoughts, physical symptoms like tightness or fatigue, and emotional patterns such as self-doubt or fear of getting it wrong. In therapy, we slow things down and look at how these pieces interact, rather than treating anxiety as just a set of symptoms to manage.
My approach to anxiety therapy is evidence-based, relational, and practical. Together, we work to understand the patterns fueling anxiety, develop tools to calm the nervous system, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Therapy focuses on creating relief in your day-to-day life while also addressing the deeper roots of anxiety, so change feels sustainable, not forced.
I offer anxiety therapy for clients in New York City, Montclair, and Hoboken, with both in-person and virtual options available.
OCD is often misunderstood. It’s not about being organized, super clean, or detail-oriented; it’s about intrusive thoughts, obsessive doubts, and compulsive behaviors that can feel relentless and exhausting. Many people with OCD experience themes such as relationship OCD, health or illness OCD, harm OCD, or ongoing mental checking and reassurance-seeking that quietly takes over daily life.
I work with individuals experiencing OCD and obsessive patterns to help them understand how OCD operates, why certain thoughts feel so “sticky,” and how the cycle of anxiety and compulsions gets reinforced. Therapy focuses on increasing flexibility, reducing the urge to engage with compulsions, and helping you relate differently to intrusive thoughts without needing to eliminate them entirely. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) which is the gold-standard of treatment for OCD.
My work with OCD is grounded in evidence-based treatment while remaining collaborative and relational. I offer OCD therapy for clients in New York City and Montclair, NJ, with virtual options available throughout New York and New Jersey.
Teen Thearpy
Adolescence today comes with a unique set of pressures. Between social media, shifting friendships, academic expectations, and the constant pull to fit in, many teens feel overwhelmed long before they have the language to explain it. I provide therapy for teens navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, academic pressure, social stress, peer dynamics, and emotional overwhelm.
Teen therapy is not about “fixing” behavior; it’s about helping teens feel understood, supported, and capable. I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship with each teen so therapy feels like a space where they can be honest, open, and themselves. Together, we work on emotional awareness, coping skills, confidence, and healthier ways of responding to stress both internally and in relationships.
I also work closely with parents, offering parent sessions as part of the process when helpful. Supporting a teen often means supporting the family system, and I collaborate with parents to strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and better understand what their teen may be experiencing beneath the surface.
I see myself as a teen’s advocate in therapy, someone who takes their inner world seriously while also helping them develop the skills they need to thrive. I collaborate with local schools in the Hoboken, Montclair, and New York City areas to ensure teens feel supported across environments.
Fertility, IVF, and Reproductive Mental Health
Fertility struggles don’t happen in a vacuum. They often unfold alongside demanding jobs, social milestones, family expectations, and a world that doesn’t slow down even when you desperately need it to. Many people navigating fertility treatments or IVF experience anxiety, grief, loss of control, and a constant sense of uncertainty, all while trying to keep up appearances in everyday life.
I work with individuals and couples navigating fertility challenges, infertility, IVF, pregnancy loss, and the emotional complexity of trying to build a family. Therapy provides space to process the mental, emotional, and relational impact of this experience … from managing anxiety around outcomes and timelines, to coping with grief, comparison, and isolation, to navigating how fertility stress affects identity and relationships.
My approach is thoughtful, supportive, and grounded in reality. Therapy isn’t about forcing optimism or “staying positive,” but about helping you feel less alone, more supported, and better equipped to navigate an experience that can feel overwhelming and deeply personal. I offer fertility and IVF-related therapy for clients in New York City, Montclair, and Hoboken, and work with both individuals and couples during this time.
Relationship and Couples Thearpy
Modern relationships carry a lot of pressure. Between work stress, emotional burnout, shifting expectations, family/in-law relationships, and the influence of social media and comparison, many couples find themselves feeling disconnected even when they deeply care about one another. Anxiety, resentment, miscommunication, and unresolved patterns can quietly build over time.
I work with couples navigating communication challenges, trust issues, emotional distance, life transitions, and recurring conflict patterns. Couples therapy is not about assigning blame or deciding who is “right.” It’s about understanding the dynamics between you, recognizing patterns that keep repeating, and creating new ways of communicating and connecting that feel more secure and supportive.
My work with couples is relational, honest, and collaborative. Therapy focuses on helping each partner feel heard and understood while building practical tools for navigating conflict, strengthening emotional intimacy, and moving forward together with more clarity and respect. I offer relationship and couples therapy for clients in New York City and Montclair, NJ, with virtual options available as well.
Frequently Asked Questions (& The Answers!)
-
Many people come to therapy feeling unsure … not “bad enough,” but not okay either. If you’re experiencing anxiety, overthinking, relationship stress, fertility-related emotional challenges, or feeling stuck in patterns that aren’t serving you, therapy can help you gain clarity and relief. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy; many of my clients are high-functioning and seeking deeper understanding, emotional support, and lasting change.
-
I typically recommend weekly therapy sessions, especially at the start of treatment. Weekly sessions help build trust, create momentum, and allow us to work on the root causes of what’s bringing you in … not just surface symptoms. As therapy progresses, we can reassess frequency based on your goals and needs.
