Therapy In Person and Online In New York City, Hoboken, NJ and Montclair, NJ

Therapy with me goes deeper than the “quick fixes”. I work to create a space where you can start seeing real change.

Most people come to therapy because something feels “off” in their life. Many times, they can’t pinpoint it. Anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationships that keep hitting the same walls, or a sense of being stuck in patterns they can’t break.

In our work together, we focus on both what helps you feel better now and what creates lasting change. You’ll leave sessions with tools and coping strategies you can use right away. But we don’t stop there. I blend my training in skills-based therapies with psychodynamic and relational interventions to support you in understanding your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions on a deeper level.

Together, we’ll slow down and explore the bigger picture, the deeper patterns, the emotions you’ve learned to silence, and the story underneath the stress. Because real healing isn’t just about getting through the week. It’s about understanding yourself in a way that changes how you show up for your life.

Therapy with me is for people who want both skills and self-understanding. I strive to create a space that fosters a sense of support today, while cultivating the kind of inner strength that endures.

What contributes to successful therapy?

The Therapeutic Relationship: This means feeling safe, understood, and supported. A strong connection with your therapist is the heart of therapy.

Client Willingness & Commitment: Showing up, being honest, and staying curious, implementing therapy insights and goals outside of the room.

Client Hope & Belief Things Can Change: Believing things can get better (and having someone believe in you) is a big part of what keeps therapy moving forward.

Tools & Strategies Provided: The coping skills, insights, and techniques you learn in therapy help you feel better and handle challenges in daily life (this comes with therapist training).

Your Life Context & Support Systems: Your relationships, environment, access, racial/cultural background, and resources outside of therapy also shape how healing happens.
